Beyond the score: a journey toward excellence
The ESG rating and the sustainability report verification, delivered by bodies accredited under the Get It Fair programme, guide companies toward excellence across all sustainability dimensions.
Both services follow the same assessment pathway and include an on-site evaluation at the company's premises.
Ongoing monitoring of company performance strengthens the value of the ESG rating over time.
Get It Fair enables companies to obtain both the ESG rating and the sustainability report declaration of conformity through a single assessment process.
An innovative digital platform ensures the highest level of reliability throughout the process.

The Validation Process
TWO DISTINCT SERVICES, ONE SHARED ASSESSMENT PROCESS
TWO DISTINCT SERVICES, ONE SHARED ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Achieve reliable and accurate sustainability information through on-site due diligence by means of a single assessment process for both sustainability report verification and ESG rating validation.

The two services share a common foundation: a rigorous assessment process aligned with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17029.
A comprehensive assessment carried out by Certified Assessors (GIF AP Assessors), partly remotely and partly on site at the company's premises, makes the difference by enhancing the accuracy and reliability of forward-looking sustainability information. [looking forward]

Both provide a confirmation of sustainability information, but from different time perspectives.

Sustainability report verification
Sustainability report verification
Voluntary conformity verification of the sustainability report provides independent confirmation of the reliability of the sustainability information prepared by the company, against internationally recognised standards (GRI, ESRS, IFRS).
The sustainability report primarily contains information related to historical data and past events.
The company receives an independent third-party declaration of conformity to be included in the published sustainability report.
The verification may be issued with either a limited or reasonable level of assurance and does not include periodic monitoring.

ESG Rating
ESG Rating
The service assesses the company's level of exposure to events that may generate positive or negative impacts on the company and its stakeholders.
The assessment focuses on confirming the plausibility of the assumptions used to estimate future risks and opportunities across all sustainability dimensions.
The only reliable way to assess ESG risks with a predictive perspective is through an on-site assessment.
For this reason, the defining feature of the Get It Fair ESG Rating is a due diligence carried out at the company's premises by certified assessors.
At the conclusion of the process, the company receives a detailed final report that serves as a powerful roadmap for improvement, together with a set of formal recognitions.
The on-site assessment enables the issuance of an ESG rating with a reasonable — rather than limited — level of assurance.

ESG rating monitoring
ESG rating monitoring
Get It Fair enables companies and their stakeholders to track the evolution of the ESG rating over time, whether improving, remaining stable, or deteriorating.
Following the initial due diligence, the service provides for a three-year monitoring period, based on periodic assessments carried out on site at the company's premises.
The purpose of the monitoring is to verify whether, and to what extent, the areas for improvement identified during the previous assessment have been effectively addressed.
Monitoring allows companies and their stakeholders to measure progress over time and to benchmark performance against other companies Benchmarking].
