Accreditation

Reliability: the foundation of accreditation

The credibility of an assessment of an organisation's exposure to ESG risks is a particularly sensitive matter and depends on who carries out the due diligence.

To ensure the highest standards of rigour, independence, and service quality, Get It Fair due diligence may be conducted exclusively by accredited bodies.

The GIF programme and the GIF AP Credentialing System have been assessed as fit for accreditation purposes by Accredia, in accordance with international standards ISO/IEC 17029 and ISO/IEC 17024.

This provides an additional level of assurance for both organisations and their stakeholders.

Public tenders and sustainability. With GIF, you gain a competitive edge.

In public procurement procedures, holding an accredited GIF rating places an organisation in a competitive position.

The Get It Fair programme is recognised as a scoring (award) criterion within a growing number of sector-specific "minimum environmental criteria (CAM)", including construction, road infrastructure, and energy services.

The CAM framework awards additional points to companies that hold a valid conformity attestation issued by an accredited conformity-assessment body in accordance with ISO/IEC 17029, within the context of a recognised assessment programme, such as Get It Fair.

Important notice: GIF is also recognised as an award criterion by major public purchasing authorities (e.g. Consip) and by public funding bodies (e.g. Invitalia). It may also be used in business-to-business procurement procedures.

What are CAMs?

What are CAMs?

CAMs (Minimum Environmental Criteria) are requirements that must be referred to in public procurement procedures in Italy.

They set out both mandatory requirements and award (scoring) criteria, under which points are allocated and used to determine the contractor to whom the contract is awarded.

CAM requirements are increasingly applied not only in public tenders, but also in private-sector procurement and commercial negotiations.

CAMs are established by decree of the Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica (MASE). Their application is designed to promote and reward more responsible and sustainable business practices
