Federico Foria is a civil engineer from Pomigliano d’Arco (NA). He has experience in the design, maintenance and management of national and international infrastructures. In 2022, he was awarded by EFCA as the best Future Leader in Europe. He is currently the Head of the Geotechnics, Geology and Hydraulics Department, as well as the Head of Research and Development at ETS (Italy).

He represents innovation and sustainability for infrastructures in national and international Committees, in addition to carrying out educational and dissemination activities. Among others, he is a member of the Global Sustainability Committee of the International Tunnelling Association (ITA-AITES) and representative for topics related to Maintenance and Management of underground spaces. He is the national coordinator in the Italian Tunnelling Society (SIG).

Since 2023 he has been certified GIF AP Practitioner to support the sustainability and ESG rating path in companies, infrastructures and innovation processes, with greater expertise and awareness. This certification strengthens his experience and awareness in promoting sustainability and ESG principles.
