Itinera has been operating for over 80 years, in Italy and worldwide, in the construction of major infrastructure projects and civil engineering works.

Founded in 1938, the company is part of the ASTM Group, the world's second-largest toll road operator, with approximately 6,200 km of roads under concession.

The ASTM Group, active in more than 15 countries with around 17,000 employees, manages approximately 1,420 km of roads in Italy and, through the acquisition and joint control of EcoRodovias, manages about 4,700 km of roads in Brazil.

The Group is also active in the transport, engineering, energy, and maritime sectors, with a turnover of €3.1 billion (2021).
