An entirely Italian reality made up of people who have always been attentive and committed to the needs of those living in daily contexts of social and/or cultural hardship, non-profit and with high professionalism.

AFLIN was founded on June 25, 2013 with the aim of protecting the rights of women and children, and in general those segments of the population who find themselves in conditions of marginalization, particularly in the territory of the Indian Subcontinent. Numerous projects are in progress with members and volunteers of the Onlus at the forefront in the following areas: health, education, emergencies, CSR.

AFLIN intends to raise awareness so that the choices made by Italian (European) consumers do not endanger human rights, working conditions, environmental protection or business ethics in countries along the supply chain of Italian clothing, leather goods and footwear companies and brands. We also want to encourage companies and brands to adopt Responsible Sourcing strategies and approaches.

For this reason AFLIN promotes the project “We Dress Responsibly” addressing on one side Italian (European) consumers and on the other Italian clothing and leather goods companies and brands that outsource their production to developing countries. Initially, the project is focused on India and will later be extended to other countries in Asia.

The objectives of the project are:

– to improve the awareness of Italian consumers about the working conditions and environment in which the product they are purchasing has been made
– to concretely and actively improve the social responsibility of Italian companies and along their supply chain in India (and Asia)
