Unioncamere
Unioncamere
Unioncamere – the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture – is the Public Institution that officially represents the system of Italian Chambers of Commerce at national level.
Established in 1901, it designs, implements and provides services and activities in the interest of the Chambers of Commerce and economic categories, coordinating the Italian chamber system through strategic guidelines and plans.
In accordance with its legally assigned mission, Unioncamere may sign memoranda of understanding, agreements and programs with the central Government and national or local public authorities, in order to foster cooperation between Chambers of Commerce and organizations representing businesses, workers and consumers.
At European level, Unioncamere is a member of Eurochambres, the European Association representing national chamber systems.
