Natalia Rita La Scala, Management Engineer since 2002, after an experience as Assistant to the Quality Manager of an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, became in 2005 a Business Consultant for HQSE, for Project Financing and for VIA/VAS/VINCA, developing solid experience in the agri-food sector, construction prefabrication, green energy production and agri-food, environmental and construction laboratories. Her skills allow her to handle complex projects, with particular attention to adaptability to market needs and innovation in processes.

For food, environmental and construction laboratories, she is an expert in accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 both in system organization and in the use of inferential statistics tools, control charts, estimation of measurement and calibration uncertainty and validation of measurement processes. For the construction sector, she develops and keeps updated technical specializations for the creation and management of FPC for CE Marking, for the calculation and self-control system of recycled/recovered/by-product content and for the calculation and monitoring of CO2 emissions in the ETS system for prefabricated construction materials in clay and in CAP/CAV.

In her role as consultant and auditor, she is immediately dedicated to the transfer of skills, as a trainer, stimulating curiosity and awareness of roles and tasks and in 2021 she became a qualified Auditor for ICMQ SpA, Milan for recycled content and CO2 calculation for ETS.

Since 2005 she has also participated in and coordinated:

design groups for Financing Projects of industrial, craft and agricultural production activities, ensuring the financial, urban planning and environmental consistency of the project and relations with key stakeholders, customers, public administrations, funding bodies and the multidisciplinary design team.

multidisciplinary groups for Incidence Assessment, Environmental and Landscape Impact Assessment mainly for photovoltaic and wind power plant projects on land, involved by international investors in Sicily.

In 2021 she began to take an interest in ESG and chose the Get It Fair Program as a reference, becoming in 2024 a member of Diligentia ETS and then a qualified Practitioner for the GIF scheme, with the aim of supporting companies in a correct ESG Risk Analysis and the preparation of a sustainability and ESG communication report.
